■3rd Person POV■

The beautiful but simple white dress sways as the person who's wearing it walks. Y/N holds onto Yamato's arm as he walks her down the aisle.

Y/N looks up to the front and sees a man in his suit, waiting for her at the end of the way.

Kuguri's breath hitches the moment Y/N steps into the room. Two months ago he met her again when his friend takes her to the restaurant that actually belongs to her uncle, and on that very day he proposed to her.

Though he told her that this is all a deal that they could break anytime she wants, Kuguri couldn't help but be entranced by his bride.

~Flashback two months ago~

Y/N and Kuguri are meeting at a cafe on Sunday afternoon. As they walk into the cafe Y/N was about to say her order but Kuguri already said it.

Kuguri: one hot coffee, and one ice caramel latte with less sugar.

Y/N was surprised when she hears Kuguri tells the waiter what she wants. Her heart is moved to know that he still remembers what she likes.

The two sit near the window, sometimes looking at the passerby to ease the awkwardness between the two.

Y/N: Kuguri san... why... you proposed such a thing...

Kuguri: I already told you the reason... I just want to help you out to atone for what I did to you...

Kuguri tells Y/N that he learns about what happened from Nakano. Y/N looks down at her latter as she listens to him, remembering the bitter memories of their breakup.

Y/N: that... you don't need to do this if you just want to apologize... I... already forget about it...

Kuguri: but I don't like the idea of you marrying someone else...

Y/N's eyes widened as she hears this. She looks up at Kuguri who still wears the same expression, not knowing that his words made Y/N's heart race.

Y/N: wh-why is that?

Kuguri: because I know you're uncomfortable with strangers... but knowing you, you definitely want to make your grandfather happy so you will definitely follow his wishes... that's why, isn't it better if it's me?

Her heart hurts a little when she hears this, but she tries to shook them away. Y/N kind of agrees with what Kuguri says, the part where she hopes for her grandfather is happiness.

Y/N: then... how should we do this?

Kuguri: we can get married, and live together, and if you think you've had enough... we... could separate...

As he says this Kuguri's heart clenches and so does Y/N's. But here they are, two people who used to date, talking about marriage, their marriage.

Y/N is conflicted but something inside of her telling that she wants to accept this proposal.

Y/N: okay then...

~Ends of Flashback~

Kuguri and Y/N stand facing each other and start saying the vow. As they say the vow, their hearts flutters listening to each other says the vow.

By the time they were told to kiss, Y/N grew nervous. She looks up at Kuguri and shuts he eyes.

Y/N: Ku...guri...

Kuguri sees the nervousness in her face. Seeing her so close to him like this, he could just press his lips to her, but Kuguri knows that Y/N might not comfortable with that.

He gently cups her face and leans closer. Y/N could feel his breath on her face and listen as he whispers.

Kuguri: it's Naoyasu Y/N... don't worry... lift your face to the side a little...

Kuguri gently whispers to her and Y/N follows his leads. And then, Kuguri's lips move closer but stops only a centimeter away from the side of her lips.

From the side of the people who come, it looks as if he was kissing her. When Kuguri pulls back, he was stunned to see Y/N's face so red.

Though they didn't kiss, the feeling of having his large hands on her face, and his face so close to her, makes her heart beats so fast.

Moreover, Kuguri is someone who she loves back in high school. Seeing her face like that makes Kuguri's heart racing too.

■Y/N's POV■

We walk down and greets the guests. There aren't many people that we invite. They're only Naoyasu's past volleyball team and some of his colleagues. Then his family.

And from my side is my uncle, grandfather, Uno nee, and Kento nii. I don't have any close friends to invite because I move from Nohebi in my last year, and in my new school, I manage to made friends, but can't find any close friends.

The closest people that I could call friends are probably uncle's regular customers.

As we walk together, I can feel someone is approaching.

Kuguri's mom: Y/N, you look so pretty, sweetie...

Naoyasu's family is approaching us. Last month Naoyasu took me to her parent's house and they're surprised when he told them we're getting married.

Naoyasu's mom cups my cheeks and I can feel the warmth of her hands.

Kuguri's mom: I'm so glad you two are back together... and moreover now you're married... Nao does really loves you because he doesn't have any girlfriend after you... and in the end, you guys are back together...

No... it's not like that...

Naoyasu's parents and my uncle thought we broke up because I moved away. They don't know that we had a misunderstanding, and I feel bad for hiding it from them.

I feel a hand on my shoulder and look up to see Naoyasu as he stares at his parents.

Naoyasu: yes... I can't find someone's to replace her after all...

Dub Dub

Naoyasu looks at me with his usual expression, but his eyes look soften for a second.

How could you say such things?

We talk for a bit and my family came to us. Uncle Yamato smacks Naoyasu's back and talks to him with tears in his eyes.

Yamato: I said that you're quite handsome back then, didn't think you're Y/N's boyfriend... I'm glad I Don need to marry her off to a stranger...

Amaha: I think I deserve a reward for bringing these long lost lovers to each other... congratulations Kuguri...

Naoyasu is standing with Uncle Yamato and Amaha san on his sides. Just then Uno nee came, pushing grandpa's wheelchair.

Y/N's GP: my Y/N.... you look yu beautiful... just like my Yaiko...

Mother...

Y/N: grandpa... thank you...

Grandpa gently caresses my cheek. He then looks at Naoyasu and calls him.

Y/N's GP: young man... come here...

Naoyasu crouches down in front of him and grandpa takes his hand in his.

Y/N's GP: please... take care of our Y/N... she's now yours... please... make her happy and protect her...

Y/N: Grandpa-

Kuguri: yes... I will... I will try my best to make her happy...

Dub Dub

Naoyasu stares at grandpa as he speaks.  Naoyasu says all that without a doubt as to if he was seriously meant it.

Though this marriage is a deal...

A deal that can be broken at anytime...

I can't help my heart from beating for him...

■Kuguri's POV■

I press the pass lock on my apartment and opens the door, holding it for Y/N to walk in.

Kuguri: Come on in...

Y/N: ah yes, thank you...

I walk her inside and show her around because she'll be living in here starting from today. Her stuff arrived yesterday and I already put them in place.

I take her to the unused guest room. I already cleans this room a week ago.

Kuguri: you can use this room Y/N... all of your stuff are here... though we are married I'm sure you'll be uncomfortable to be around me all the time... so I prepared this room for you.

Her eyes widened and then she looks around. Y/N looks at me and bows her head.

Y/N: ah yes, thank you Naoyasu...

Hearing her sweet voice calling in my name makes my heart all fuzzy...

Kuguri: you can rest now, your other stuff will be here tomorrow, we can tidying up the house tomorrow.

I'm about to leave her room when I hear her calling me and tugs on my shirt.

Y/N: ah um sorry... I just want to ask... the pass lock at the door.... I'm sorry I need to know.

Something that you can remember easily...

Kuguri: it's xxxxxx, that's the password...

I look at her face who looks surprised.

Y/N: Nao- Naoyasu... that's...

The password to my lock is actually my anniversary date when I was dating her with Y/N.

Kuguri: ah... that's the easiest that I can think of...

Though we haven't seen each other...

Because we're apart due to my fault...

All these years I can't help but thinks about her or even dreamt about her.....

And now she's here....

Right in front of me....

And now.... she'll be staying at my place...

I... just can't mess up...
